Fully funded PhD studentships at Brighton

The University of Brighton invites high-achieving students to apply for fully funded PhD studentship projects for 2017 entry.

The University of Brighton is offering a range of fully funded PhD studentship opportunities for 2017. Many of these studentships are worth more than £60,000 and will support full-time doctoral study over a three-year period.

Brighton is proud to be a partner in five doctoral training partnerships and centres for doctoral training. We have recognition across all of our colleges covering the arts, humanities and sciences.

Studentship projects

• Evolution and palaeobiology of the armoured dinosaurs
• Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis: comparing objective metrics of ambulation and activity (biomarkers) to the patient’s perspective
• How does the incidence and scale of flooding impact on river stability?
• Mechanobiology of the ageing brain: in search of novel treatments for memory impairment and Alzheimer’s disease
• Novel middle ear implants for treatment of hearing loss
• Visual privacy management for personal data
